The Nebraska Restaurant Association Hospitality Education Foundation (HEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting education and career development in the hospitality and foodservice industry.
Our Programs
- Scholarships – Four $2,000 scholarships awarded annually to qualifying students pursuing hospitality/culinary degrees in Nebraska.
- ProStart – A two-year high school culinary arts and restaurant management program taught in Nebraska schools.
- ServSafe – Food safety certification program recognized by state and local health departments.
- Industry Mentors – Connecting hospitality professionals with students to provide guidance and real-world experience.
HEF Events
The Foundation hosts the annual HEF Golf Outing and participates in industry events throughout the year to raise funds for student scholarships and education programs.
